FAQs

Is Holland Congregational Church a member of any denomination?

No. We are an independant local church who beleive in the sovereignty of God and the absolute authority of His Word, the Bible. For more information on what we believe check out our statement of faith!

How long do your Sunday morning gatherings last for?

Our Sunday gathering time begins at 10am and is usually over between 11:15am-11:30am.

What do I do with my children?

You’ll find Holland Church to be a family-friendly place. We welcome and encourage children of all ages to join us in our Sunday Gathering. You will find that many parents feel comfortable having their children sit with them through the service. However, if you feel it necessary for your children to have a lesson of their own, we do provide children's church for children ages 4-8. They will be dismissed from the gathering as the sermon begins!

We also provide a nursery for ages newborn - 3yrs. This is available throughoutour child can be dropped off at any point before or during the gathering and be picked up after.

Additionally, there is Sunday School for all ages (children through adults) at 8:45am, before our Sunday worship gathering.

What translation of the Bible do you use?

Our pastors typically preach from the English Standard Version (ESV) or the New American Standard Bible (NASB). We prefer these translations because we believe a word-for-word translation of the Bible is the best way to study the original text.
